A young company – a successfully developing innovative startup – at the intersection of three industries, focused on mass consumers. At the time of the project start, it has an office in Moscow and a planned office in St. Petersburg.
What did the client want:
One of the main goals of shareholders and investors was to develop the company to a national scale. In order to achieve this goal, it was necessary, among other things, to solve the following two tasks:
- Find a strategy for the growth and regional expansion of the business idea, taking into account the fact that there was no similar business in Russia and the CIS.
- Plan the changes dynamically for the operations and management structure in three-years horizon.
In the course of the project, the best practice for each of the three related sectors of innovative business were analysed. Close analogues of business abroad were found and analysed as well. Consumer preferences were analysed and consumer behaviour for the innovative product was simulated. Based on the data obtained, strategic planning was carried out, including territorial expansion plans in the selected regions. Regional growth plans were used to model dynamically operating activities over a three-year period.
The approved growth strategy formed the basis for detailed growth plans for the coming years and determined the volume of investments, their dynamics and rate of return. Ultimately, the results of the project helped to proceed with the investment decision.
