The diversified agricultural group planned to merge with the groceries manufacturer and distributor under management of a united headquarter.
What did the client want:
Design and implement the management system for the new management company.
Firstly the new structure of the new upcoming unified group was drafted in simplified form with defined spheres of action and responsibility for each. The business process of the both groups, incl. tow managing companies and all business units, were analysed as well. Based on the strategy and the visions of the shareholders the target structure of the united group as well as the structure of the managing company was specified and revised. Additionally the synergy effect was calculated for three scenarios of merging.
The processes information laid the foundation of the new multilevel management structure of the new group with new managing company as a headquarter.
The designed management structure was implemented after the merger. Based on this the integration plan and the organizational change plan were drafted and implemented as well. The new designed structure was laid as a basis not only for the renewed budget structure and management, but also for all changes in management, that proceeded after the merging and integration and beyond.
